Research conducted within the framework of the\u00a0<strong>ZAL<\/strong>\u00a0are interdisciplinary and combine the\u00a0<strong>Earth Sciences<\/strong>, <strong>Life Sciences<\/strong>the\u00a0<strong>Environmental Sciences<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Human and Social Sciences<\/strong>They mainly concern interactions <strong>Companies<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>Environment in direct or indirect connection with the river<\/strong>or its tributaries.<\/p>\n<p>All of these works are being carried out both in <strong>Long time\u00a0<\/strong>(archaeological research, palaeoecology, geomorphology...) and for <strong>The current period\u00a0<\/strong>(ecology, geography, land-use planning\u2026), which is a unique feature of the Workshop Zones Network and sets it apart from research carried out in most catchment areas, whether in France or abroad.
