They are diverse: European, national, interregional, regional, and local, in total.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/en\/projets-de-recherche\/\">40 projects<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>have been financed and initiated since 2012, 26 initiated since 2015, representing an amount of over <strong>\u00a316.2m<\/strong>Of which \u20ac7.9 million for the 2 LIFE+ projects\u00a0<em>Great Mussel<\/em> and\u00a0<em>CROAA<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scientific productions over the last 4 years have been numerous and varied, including\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/en\/publication\/\">128 peer-reviewed articles<\/a> in national and international journals<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>3 books<\/strong>Other outputs such as technical reports or popular science articles are also listed in the appendix. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its creation, the Loire Research Observatory has integrated young researchers, including doctoral students.\u00a0<strong>36 doctoral theses<\/strong> were hired, over the period 2015-19.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/en\/theses-soutenues\/\">25 theses were defended<\/a><\/strong> at the end of 2018,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/en\/theses-en-cours-2\/\">16\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/en\/theses-en-cours-2\/\">are ongoing<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"668\" src=\"http:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mareau-1024x668.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mareau-1024x668.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mareau-300x196.png 300w, https:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mareau-768x501.png 768w, https:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mareau-250x163.png 250w, https:\/\/www.za-loire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mareau.png 1062w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Conceptual model of the morphological evolution of the non-migrating bar (planform and bathymetry) during a flood event (2015).
