Research activities

The Loire Atelier Zone is looking for research teams. They are diverse: European, national, interregional, regional, and local, in total. 40 projects have been financed and initiated since 2012, 26 initiated since 2015, representing an amount of over £16.2mOf which €7.9 million for the 2 LIFE+ projects Great Mussel and CROAA.

Scientific productions over the last 4 years have been numerous and varied, including 128 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals and 3 booksOther outputs such as technical reports or popular science articles are also listed in the appendix.

Since its creation, the Loire Research Observatory has integrated young researchers, including doctoral students. 36 doctoral theses were hired, over the period 2015-19. 25 theses were defended at the end of 2018, 16 are ongoing.
