LIFE+ Grande Mulette Project
The LIFE+ project for the conservation of the Giant Pearl Mussel (Conservation of the Giant Pearl Mussel in Europe, LIFE13 BIO/FR/001162) is a project working towards the preservation and conservation of Giant Pearl Mussel (Margaritifera auricularia) populations.
The LIFE+ Grande Mulette project is therefore funded by the European Union and led by the François-Rabelais University.
FARMaine Project
The FARMaine project ("Land, Planning and Regulation in the Maine Basin") set out to shed light on the implementation methods of environmental policies in the valley bottom territories of the Maine river basin, and to understand their effect on the functioning of livestock systems and agricultural land management.
It is based on an approach that is both scientific and partnership-based, with the aim of working closely with local stakeholders (managers of natural environments, representatives of the agricultural world, local authorities and State services, etc.).
